Liza Allen, M.S. I have been fortunate to have a few exceptional teachers that inspired and encouraged my love of learning and the desire to understand the world and my place in it. Often we are told what to think, feel and do, but I think the best teachers guide you to your own discoveries. I believe this applies to the mind as well as the body. It is my endeavor to offer my students and clients an understanding of what is current in terms of health and wellness. Using solid evidence-based information, I want to empower people to integrate that knowledge into their lives. Teaching dance, fitness, and health have been my career for nearly 30 years and I can't imagine doing anything else. In that time, I have presented fitness workshops for Weight Watchers as well as Pilates workshops for the MS Society and the American College Dance Festival. I have also written articles on health & wellness and co-hosted a radio program. I have always been intrigued by the mind-body connection and have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Dance and a Master of Science degree in Human Movement. Teaching Pilates in various environments has deepened my understanding and inspired further investigation. I am a life-long learner with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to share what I learn. Through the years I have obtained fitness certifications from ACE, AFAA, Mad Dogg Athletics, NASM, PhysicalMind, Pilates Method Alliance and Zumba. Having taught nearly every group fitness format as well as individual fitness training fuels my passion for learning. Making difficult concepts attainable for others fulfills my desire to share and encourage.

Angel has made fiitness and wellness a big part of her life for over 15 years. In last few years, high intensity training led to a series of injures and surgery. Specialist determined Angel had a genetic disorder that lead to early deterioration of her joints. For Angel, things finally made sense as to the source of her medical issues, but the new knowledge meant Angel could no longer pursue her fitness goals without risk of injury. Searching for a new way to stay fit, led Angel to Pilates and to Club Pilates where she had her 1st group fitness session. When she started Pilates, she could barely walk and had limited success with physical therapy. After a few Pilates sessions, she began to move with less pain. Over time significant progress was made. Pilates has taught Angel to make a mind-body connection resulting fast rehab. Her 20 years of experience in the medical field have allowed her to make a quick link to the anatomy of Pilates. Her passion for fitness soon led her to become an instructor. She has completed “Balanced Body Comprehensive” and “Barre Above” training certificate. She also carries a Medical Assistant certification, American Medical Technologists certification, and Cosmetology license. Angel’s struggle with injury joined with her background as a health professional and Pilates instructor unite to create a true passion for helping others. Her imaginative train style and awareness of the body-mind connection combined for an amazing workout with rehab and prehab benefits!
Caitlin has always led an active life. As a young child in upstate New York she cross-country skied and participated in dance and gymnastics. During her college and adult years she has enjoyed hiking, horseback riding and downhill skiing. Before coming to Arizona she received her undergrad degree from Ithaca College. In Arizona she found a job as a research specialist at ASU’s Biodesign Center, but was not content with the work she was doing. She was no longer doing any of her previous hobbies, especially once the summer came. That was when she discovered Barre and Pilates. There was a studio very close to her home, and she became hooked on Barre and Pilates Mat. She loved Mat so much that she became certified to teach Mat classes, and started taking Pilates equipment classes. Her passion for the method really began to shine, and motivated her to pursue Pilates as an alternate career. She received her PMA-CPT in December 2013 now dedicates her time to sharing her knowledge and love of Pilates with others. She takes pride in creating workouts that anyone can finish with a sense of accomplishment. Her favorite aspect of Pilates is being able to help people feel better mentally and physically. Caitlin also volunteers at the Phoenix Zoo which allows her to share her passion for animals and conservation with others. Caitlin and her husband love giant breed dogs and added a Tibetan Mastiff to their family after losing their cat in 2012. After losing their Great Pyrenees in 2016, they added a Newfoundland puppy in 2016 shortly followed by a human son, Dmitri, in 2017. Caitlin’s other loves include electronic dance music, country music, crafting projects, traveling, French fries, and more.
Hello everyone! My name is Elena Yeager. I have been a pilates advocate for about 20 years. I started my pilates journey as being a client. Like many of you, I needed to find more flexibility and length through the spine. I had hip issues and low back pain from my regular workouts in the gym. I quickly found out I did not need "the gym". The reformer pilates studio became my new home for my daily workout routine. I relalized I could find cardio, strength training, and flexibility all within one hour. quickly started to see the positive changes. Not in just my body but in my MIND as well! I wanted to continue to learn about pilates so I became an instructor and made it my full time passion. What I love most about my clients is the confidence I see in just a few sessions. With maintenance training on a regular basis, I see clients from all levels come to a place of new found self confidence in body and mind, just like I did. It really is exciting to see limitations lifted from a mindset and see steady progess and goals being met. Pilates in many ways changed my life and it will change yours as well. I am a firm believer in the phrase, "do what you love, love what you do". Not only did I find my ideal workout for my body, but also my dream career. I cannot wait to meet all of you and go through this journey together!
